Dry Eye BBL

RELIEVE DRY EYE DISEASE

Intense pulsed light lasers were created for dermatological use and have since become a potent tool for treating meibomian gland dysfunction, which is the leading cause of dry eye.

West Em utilizes BBL™ BroadBand Light to treat those suffering from dry eye disease. The light energy from the laser is absorbed by blood vessels and surrounding tissues, releasing secretions, killing bacteria, opening eyelid glands, reducing eyelid redness, and stimulating healthy gland function. BBL™ is also used to treat Styes and Chalazions.
